I've been dreaming of making my baby fresh organic baby food since the time I was pregnant. The day our pediatrician said we could start giving him food I was beyond ecstatic. The idea of giving him wholesome whole foods that would teach him proper eating habits from a young age is my goal. We started with a simple list of vegetables to help make the introduction to solids, our pediatrician later had us add one fruit a day as well. My baby's doctor planned his diet specific to our environment of South Florida. Hopefully, you enjoy making your baby food as much as I have. I've included simple recipes for starting out and an easy to print checklist for shopping.
